Valentina Belgenio
FLEET TALENT ACQUISITION HR Partner
I joined Costa in 2023 as part of the Talent Acquisition team for the Hotel department on board. I now manage recruitment for Galley, Restaurant, and Housekeeping, collaborating with international agencies. In my free time, I swim, listen to music, and enjoy photography and candles. My advice? Be curious, flexible, and ready to step out of your comfort zone: Costa is dynamic and full of opportunities!”
Erica Salone
BRAND & ADVERTISING Specialist
I’m Erica and I started my journey at Costa in March 2024, after completing a master’s in digital marketing. Curious and always on the move, I love traveling, trying new hobbies like jewelry making, embroidery, and photography, and recharging with long walks by the sea.
My advice for those joining Costa? Be a sponge: listen, observe, and learn. In such a dynamic environment, there’s always so much to discover!
Camilla Bassi
FOOD & BEVERAGE PERFORMANCE MONITORING Specialist
After graduating in Management, I joined in January 2022 in the Finance department. Since May 2024, I’ve been part of the SLE – Food & Beverage Performance Monitoring team, working on performance analysis and process efficiency. In my free time, I enjoy walking in nature.
My advice for newcomers? Be curious, open to dialogue, and ready to work as a team. Listening, learning from others, and asking questions are key to integration and growth.
Elena Meazza
MEET & GREET Coordinator
I started at Costa in 2002 as Assistant in the Technical Department.
Then I changed various department and from 2015 to 2026 I’ve been working in the Entertainment department. Now I take care of Meet&Greet that means all formalities and procedures to embark and disembark from our ships
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family (dog included), friends, doing some sport, reading, watching TV series, and traveling.
My advice? Language skills are essential. Be flexible, open to change, collaborative, and always eager to learn. Costa is a stimulating and ever-evolving environment and organization that requires initiative and proactivity.
Luigi Filoramo
CARE TEAM specialist
I joined Costa in 2017 after attending Employer Branding events that led to an internship. I promoted Costa across schools, universities, and social channels, then moved into Talent Acquisition and onboard staff development.
During the pandemic, I supported the Crisis & Care team and became a certified Human Services Response Trainer, later joining the Crisis Team which I’m part of in my current role.
In my free time, I enjoy nature and spending time with loved ones.
My advice? Persevere—passion makes the difference and defines us at Costa.
Francesco Langellotti
COSTA ACCOUNTING & REPORTING SERVICES Senior Accountant
I’m Francesco, 30, working at Costa Cruises for the past 3 years in Accounting & Reporting. I focus on international standards and consolidated financials in a dynamic, global environment. Outside work, I enjoy swimming, cycling, cooking and riding my Vespa. Costa challenges me daily and rewards bold ideas—perfect for those with an adventurous spirit.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION Coordinator
I started my professional journey in 2006 after graduating in Sociology with a focus on Communication and Mass Media. After various experiences at Costa, I achieved my goal of becoming Internal Communication Coordinator.
I love being outdoors, hiking in nature, and traveling.

What does it take to make thousands of athletes from 43 countries feel at home? A team that puts people first 🏅🌏
Over the past few weeks, Costa Serena has been the official accommodation for the 20th @asiangames_2026 Aichi-Nagoya 2026. Our colleagues on board and ashore have been welcoming athletes and team officials from across Asia.
Behind every tailored service, every dedicated space and every warm welcome, there were people 🤝
Crew members, hotel teams, shoreside colleagues and partners worked side by side to turn a ship into a true home away from home, built around the needs of the athletes.
On 3 October, aboard #CostaSerena in Nagoya, we were proud to welcome representatives from JTB and the Organizing Committee for a special moment of celebration and exchange. Captain Orazio D`Aita and Hotel Director Mario Vezzoli thanked the delegation for their visit and for their continued trust and support in the Japanese market 🇯🇵
It was a moment to celebrate the strong collaboration behind this extraordinary project, and above all the people who made it happen.
Thank you to JTB, the Japanese Olympic Committee and all the institutions and partners who were part of this journey 🌊
