As Hotel Controller, you will control and manage all the aspects related to the Hotel Cost Control, providing an expert financial point of view and contributing to proactively driving business results through analysis and reporting
Main Responsibilities
- Preparing daily food cost, reporting and reconciling any discrepancies in the F&B invoices
- Supporting the on board departments by analyzing statistics to anticipate needs and solve issues recommending actions to maximize financial return (target vs actual)
- Providing analysis on food outlets marginality, according to the cost of electronic orders, producing reports on operational KPI (number of covers, % of occupancy, % of free guests…) and analyzing food cost by station impact and trend
- Ensuring a control on endowments replacement to guarantee consistency and continuity of monthly requisitions
- Performing F&B, Hotel and uniform items monthly physical top items spot checks to monitor inventory and related costs
- Monitoring consistency of electronic orders in all the restaurants
Job Requirements
- Secondary school (Bachelor’s degree in Economics or similar is appreciated)
- Experience as controller in an international hotel or onboard cruise ships
- Developed accounting, finance and analytical skills
- Problem solving oriented
- Computer literacy
- English knowledge B2
- Italian knowledge is an advantage
- Previous shipboard experience is a plus
