Manages all non-financial issues related to Crew Members including relevant registrations, in order to account verification of personal documents and employment contracts
Main Responsibilities
Updates systems and safe-keeps all Crew members documents, both personal and contractuals, in order to assure the correct preservation of all adimistrative documents regarding on board personnel.
Organizes Crew Costa Badges (production and distribution), Immigration and Customs debarkation forms and distribute landing cards to Crew members in accordance with Company procedures.
Interacts with Port Authorities, Port Agent and relevant shore side offices in order to share any relevant information and hand out reports and documents (i.e. on board crew list, transfers for crew members..), in accordance with Company procedures.
Keeps registers, state requirements and MLC requirements updated in compliance with Company procedures.
Assists in the clearance of the ship, in accordance with Company procedures.
Supervises Crew embarkation and disembarkation operations in order to support the Administrative Department, according to Company procedures.
Participates in meetings in order to support the Department operations and be up to date on any information, communication and change, according to Company procedures and standards
Job Requirements:
- Secondary School
- At least 1 year as Custom and Immigration Purser
- MS Office Package
- Two European languages spoken, at least B1/B2 level
- English knowledge B2
- Italian knowledge is an advantage
- Shipboard experience is required
