Primary responsibilities include in-depth analytics reviews and analysis, data mining activities, historical trends analysis, audience analysis, complex performance indicators, benchmark data and forecasting/projection methodologies, solution design collaboration and employee mentoring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and deliver analysis and insights with clear and actionable recommendations that drive strategic and tactical decisions related to platform optimization and overall strategy.

Identify core insights from the data to suggest, create and execute multivariate or A/B/n tests that drive fundamental improvements to the site experience (from hypothesis creation, to influencing creative, to measuring/reporting results).

Design and build automated solutions for business intelligence and reporting dashboards.

Work with various marketing teams to provide reporting. Typical deliverables will include weekly/monthly reports, scheduled or ad-hoc analysis, data consolidation and validation, customer dashboard maintenance, and documenting/presenting recommendations for improving processes and overall site performance.

Perform complex ad-hoc queries and analyses that combine multiple tools and data sources and types, including analysis for other stakeholders/projects.

Advise and provide training to internal stakeholders in the use of analytics tools.

Communication and relationship with key stakeholders in other departments.

Learn continuously and pursue prescriptive, programmatic and algorithmic analysis while serving as the expert for the company.

Requirements:  

  • Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science (or other studies with significant numerical background)
  • Experience with web analytics (primary on Adobe Analytics, secondary on Google Analytics) and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau
  • 1 – 4 years of related (Digital Marketing) experience required
  • Good knowledge of English (at least C1 level is required), every other language would be a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience to work with large database
  • Data-driven approach to decision making and problem-solving combined with sense of business and commercial awareness
  • Strategic thinker, strong analytical and problem solving skills. Able to collaborate with multiple business units and apply business acumen to data trends/recommendations
  • Exposure to or desire to gain knowledge of web analytics best practices
  • Exposure to and desire to gain knowledge of digital technology and web marketing tactics as they apply to ecommerce (including SEM, email, display, and user experience)
  • The candidate needs to be able to field all audiences and levels in the company. We need this person to be able to interface with anyone who wants to use digital marketing data to make decisions
  • Candidate needs to push him or herself with a critical eye on perception within the organization.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong entrepreneurial attitude
  • Confidence under pressure and ability to identify and resolve problems with some degree of autonomy and supervision

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to read and code JavaScript but not expected to be a full-fledged “coder”
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL & VBA
  • Experience in multivariate testing, multivariate regression/logistic, mixed modelling, factor/principal components analysis, classification algorithms, support vector machines, random forest, or other machine learning techniques.
