The Inventory Officer is responsible for the overall management of the warehouses onboard our ships. He or she oversees the organization of the staff working within the department. Supported by an Assistant Inventory Officer, he or she is in charge of preparing a weekly inventory for materials and supplies available to each department, handling the budget purchases, receiving orders from various departments (F & B, Medical, Photo, Hotel) and processing the orders so to ensure that the warehouses are managed effectively and efficiently. The Inventory Officer is a professional with a strong ability to manage a team. He or she is flexible, adaptable, and possesses effective leadership, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. He or she has excellent knowledge of the English language (Advanced B2).

The Provision Master is responsible for the procurement of goods for F & B. He or she is in charge of gathering the inventory from the F & B Director, Executive Chef, and Bar Manager. He or she monitors that the quality of the products ordered corresponds to the requests made, checks the products’ expiry dates, and supervises all the activities related to ordering of goods for the F & B Department. The Provision Master manages and supervises the 2nd and 3rd Storekeeper and Store Room Utility, and is supported in his or her work by an Assistant Provision Master. He or she has a strong ability to work in a team with excellent leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills, and has excellent knowledge of the English language (Advanced B1).

The 2nd or 3rd Storekeeper governs the F & B stock operations. He or she receives incoming goods, manages outgoing goods, files reports recording every stock movement, and promptly reports any problem, discrepancy, or malfunction to the Provision Master. He or she also keeps the warehouse clean, respecting safety, health and hygiene regulations. The 2nd or 3rd Storekeeper has a strong ability to work in a team, and has excellent knowledge of the English language (almeno A2).

The Store Room Utility deals with the operational activities of F & B stock operations. He or she receives incoming goods, manages outgoing goods, arranges the goods on the shelves and in the refrigerators, uses a forklift and other suitable equipment, controls and monitors the temperature of storage cells, and promptly reports any problem, discrepancy, or malfunction to the Provision Master. He or she also keeps the warehouse clean and tidy, respecting safety, health and hygiene regulations. The 2nd or 3rd Storekeeper has a strong ability to work in a team, and has excellent knowledge of the English language (almeno B2).

The Hotel Storekeeper is responsible for procurement for the entire Hotel Department. He or she is in charge of gathering the inventory from the Hotel Director and Housekeeping Manager. He or she monitors that the quality of goods ordered corresponds to the requests made, and supervises all activities related to the Hotel warehouse and orders. The Hotel Storekeeper manages and supervises the Assistant Uniforms, Assistant Linen, and Tailor. He or she has a strong ability to work in a team with excellent leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills, and has excellent knowledge of the English language (Advanced A2).

The Assistant Linen is responsible for the supply of the Hotel’s linens. He or she guarantees that linens are available and ready to use, monitors their quality, and ensures cleanliness and maintenance. He or she also manages orders, the shipment of new goods, and the unloading of defective parts. The Assistant Linen complies with rules relating to safety, health and hygiene. He or she has a strong ability to work in a team, and has excellent knowledge of the English language (almeno A2)

The Assistant Uniforms is responsible for the procurement of Hotel staff uniforms. He or she ensures that each uniform and accessory is available to the worker, and guarantees their quality, cleanliness, and maintenance. He or she manages the embarkation of new uniforms ordered, the disembarkation of defective parts, and the maintenance of uniforms onboard. The Assistant Uniforms complies with rules relating to safety, health and hygiene. He or she has a strong ability to work in a team, and has excellent knowledge of the English language (almeno A2).

The Tailor is entrusted with the care and maintenance of the uniforms. During embarkation, he or she is in charge of preparing and dressing the staff in personalized and tailored uniforms. He or she manages the procurement of goods necessary for his or her work, and monitors the embarkation of new products and the landing of faulty parts. He or she supports all other activities that are assigned by the Hotel Storekeeper. The Tailor complies with rules relating to safety, health and hygiene. He or she has a strong ability to work in a team, and has excellent knowledge of the English (almeno A2).
